Junior Seau to Return?

Rumors are circulating that Junior Seau may be getting ready for a return to the Patriots.  Reportedly, he is going to have a physical soon, and could sign after that.

I definately want him back, even with the youth at linebacker.

What does everybody think?

I think Junior Seau will be back next year.

Why would he give up a chance at a Super Bowl, he needs one to secure his legacy.

I would love to have him back, it gives us flexibilty at the LB spot and he can be another mentor for Mayo which will make him that much better

Yeah, we would have a really solid LB rotation as well:

Starting OLBS: Vrabel, Thomas

Backup OLBS: Woods, Crable, Redd, Guyton, Izzo

Starting ILBS: Bruschi, Mayo/Seau

Backup ILBS: Mayo/Seau, Hobson, Ruud, Alexander, Izzo

So what happen to Junior Seau?

John Clayton said he thought Seau would be back, and nothing ever happened.

Still, Seau hasn't retired.  Whether or not we NEED him I'd still like him back.

The pats are thinking faster and younger. By getting Seau back now they will have to cut someone young they dont want too, or at least moved to a practice spot..

OLB: Thomas, Vrable
ILB: Brushci, Hobson

Hmmmm

Backup middle linebacker is looking thinner than ever

Seau would make a good pickup to give some depth to the kid on the inside

Although he is a tad bit overrated
