One of the big topics during the owners meetings this week was the subject of a 17 game schedule.
I know a lot of people are supporting it, but I'm not.
I think the preseason is important to preparation, and is a great time to see the fringe/young guys get to play. Plus, I think it kind of screws up NFL history, if you get what I'm saying.
Thoughts?

Another game in the season just increases larger gaps for bye weeks and an extra week to get beat up. To jump up another 2 might be too much at first. But then again if i was making 6 Mill a year, i wouldnt complain...Probably just able to reach my incentives.

You'd have to think that if the NFL made a two game jump, players would want their base salaries increased. However, players would also be able to rech incentives easier.
And I know this sounds lame, but I'd find it hard to let go of the preseason.
