Why did the Pats pass on Bowman?

I was just wondering why the Patriots passed on Nebraska Cornerback Zackary Bowman and took Jon Wilhite.  I had never heard of Wilhite, but I now know he is undersized and has bad hands.  Bowman has soft hands and is big for a CB, and we all know wide receivers are getting bigger and bigger in the NFL.

MrPatriot, I think it was a big mistake as well. Wilhite could be good, but right now, there are too many questions surrounding him.

Bowman wasn't the greatest prospect, but he had size as well as starting potential. I have no idea why the Patriots passed on him.
